 According to the 2010 Census Reports, Pflugerville’s population was just under 47,000 people. Pflugerville is part of the Austin – Round Rock Metropolitan Statistical Area. Pflugerville is located 14 miles northeast of the city of Austin in north Travis County. Pflugerville’s ethnic makeup is 64.1% Caucasian, 27% Hispanic, 15% African-American, and 7.3% Asian. 34.6% of the population is under the age of 18, 6% from 18 -24, 38.8% from 25 – 44, 16.9% from 45 to 64, and 37% over the age of 65. The median annual household income in Pflugerville is $74,985; Males had an income of $49,989 and females $32,118. The unofficial slogan for Pflugerville (where Falcon Pointe is located) is “Stuck between a Rock and a Weird Place” referring to Round Rock and Austin, whose unofficial slogan is “Keep Austin Weird.” 

Entertainment

 Located within 30 minutes of the entertainment of downtown Austin, Falcon Pointe is the perfect place to be close to the excitement of the city, but far enough away from the hustle and the bustle. Just outside of the Falcon Pointe neighborhood lies just across the 130 Tollway from the newly developed Stone Hill Town Center. Stone Hill offers residents of Falcon Pointe over a million square feet of shopping and entertainment. Some highlights of the shopping center include a Super Target, Home Depot, Beals, Chick-Fil-A, Dick’s Sporting Goods, a Cinemark movie theatre, and much more. Falcon Pointe is also close to the Dell Diamond, home to the Round Rock Express (AAA minor league baseball affiliate of the Texas Rangers.) Not too far up the 45 Toll Road is the Cedar Park Center an indoor arena which is home to the Texas Star’s of the American Hockey League and Austin Toros of the NBA Development Team. The Cedar Park Center also hosts numerous concerts and other events. Other forms of entertainment for residents of Falcon Pointe are the numerous festivals the city of Pflugerville puts on including Pfall ChiliPfest, and the Pfamily Pfestival & Expo.
